For over 50 years, Medicare has given tens of millions of American seniors and those with disabilities the security of access to health care. It is a commitment we have made to working men and women for decades, and one which we can’t abandon now.
Some in Washington would like to privatize Medicare, replacing insurance coverage with vouchers to buy insurance on the open market. If this happens, seniors and those with pre-existing conditions risk extravagant costs from private insurers, like they faced before Medicare was implemented.
Tell your Senator that we should strengthen Medicare, instead of privatizing it!
